Problem framing

Bitgym is an innovative app that enables users to experience virtual tours all around the world with speed interactivity. I was brought in to help Bitgym conduct user research to understand better about their audience, and establish a brand voice and the user interface for the app. The customer experience needs to be simple and intuitive, and easy to operate for seniors on exercise machines.

My role

  1. Conducted user interviews and generated audience persona profiles

  2. Established a brand voice that’s about exploration and inspiration

  3. Collaborated with engineers on the UI interfaces

  4. We shipped the product and it’s still attracting many users till this day!

Persona report after in-depth interviews with the current app users and users of related products. This helps the team to build an area of focus.

This is what the app look like. I worked with the engineer(who uses Unity to program the app) to figure out what interactivity would best show the idea of exploration—we eventually decided on the globe visual.
